Man arrested after throwing eggs near bank, at officer

END OF AN EGG TANTRUM: Goldendale Officer Steljes escorts Eric Halverson to a police vehicle after he was stopped throwing eggs at buildings and at a police officer last week.

Around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, a man named Eric Halverson was arrested outside of Umpqua Bank after an encounter with local law enforcement.

Three Goldendale police, one Klickitat County Sheriff's Deputy, one Washington State Fish and Wildlife official, and an ambulance answered the call made about a male "acting aggressively" in the 100 block of Court Street.

According to Officer Mike Smith following the arrest, Halverson had been egging buildings, beginning first at the Juvenile Department, and was eventually confronted on West Main by a Washington State Trooper.
