Clarence Tupper


Clarence Lowell Tupper was born July 31, 1927, in Mount Vernon, Washington, to Emma (Herman) and Clarence Lloyd Tupper. He married Elsie Arlene Baxter on Sept. 5, 1954. Clarence lived many years in Goldendale where he was a rancher and farmer. He was a member of the Goldendale Seventh-day Adventist Church and enjoyed reading to and mentoring young people. Mr. Tupper passed away in Goldendale on Oct. 31, 2016, at the age of 89. He is survived by sisters Marjorie Wentland and Geraldine Stites of Goldendale; children Dale Tupper of Ukiah California, David Tupper of Walla Walla, Washington, Paul Tupper of Goldendale, Bruce Tupper of El Paso, Texas, Julie Lynch of Burbank, Washington; Sue Moberly of Yakima, Washington, and Ann Bascom of Walla Walla, Washington. He had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie and parents Clarence and Emma Tupper. A memorial service will be held at the Goldendale Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at 1 p.m. Please send condolences to the Tupper family at
