Linda K. Adcock


Linda K. Adcock, 76, passed away in Portland, Oregon, on Nov. 19, 2016.  She was born to Hilda (Nielsen) and Elmer Huckfeldt in Torrington, Wyoming, on April 22, 1940.  Linda married Kenneth Adcock on July 23, 1960.  Together they worked at their own business, Crown Label Company.  After retiring in the early 1980s, they started the first winery in the Gorge, Columbia Cliffs Winery (now Cascade Cliffs Winery). Mrs. Adcock was an avid quilter, bridge player and golfer and was a member of the bridge club and golf club.  She is survived by her husband Kenneth who resides at the Oregon Veterans’ Home; daughters Kerry Adcock of Goldendale and Jann Hoechlin of Burney, California; brother Robert Huckfeldt of Redmond, Oregon; and two grandchildren—Aubrey Wehrly, Vancouver, Washington, and Brendan Wehrly and his wife Kimberly, Southern California, who are expecting Linda’s first great grandchild in January.  She was preceded in death by her sister Joanne Bridgefarmer.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25 at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Goldendale.  To send condolences to the Adcock family, please visit
