Surrounding Districts and Community Invited to Lyle Schools' College Fair Dec. 7


Steve Hinze of Goldendale Masonic Lodge 31 presented a Weatherby shotgun to James Clark of Trout Lake, winner of the latest gun raffle drawing held by the Masonic Lodge Thursday December 1, 2017 at the dinner preceding the monthly meeting of the Masonic lodge. This is the latest of many raffles to be held by the lodge to support the many charities they contribute to, as well as help with the expenses of the planned upgrades to the building.

Representatives from at least 11 colleges and technical schools are scheduled to participate in Lyle Community Schools' College Fair on Dec. 7, 3 - 5 p.m. Organizers are encouraging parents and guardians to attend with their students to explore post-secondary education opportunities and scholarships.

The fair is open to Lyle, Klickitat and Wishram schools' students and it isn't limited to current high school students. This is, organizers say, a college fair "Lyle Style."
