What is colorful, painted, and being found all over Goldendale? Klickitat County rocks. Local artist Pat Farrer got the idea to paint pictures and messages of hope for people to find from a group called Kitsap Rocks, which passed around a prayer rock for Farrer's great granddaughter when she was born prematurely and had to be kept in the hospital. After that creative act of thoughtfulness, Farrer decided she wanted to use rocks (and her love of paint
