Tough Stevenson squad tops Lyle boys hoops

The Lyle-Wishram Cougar boys ran into a roadblock in the form of the Stevenson Bulldogs last Wednesday in Lyle.

The tall, veteran laden Bulldogs cruised past the Cougars and early on look primed to do some damage in the postseason after their 62-33 win over the Cougars.

Lyle-Wishram didn't play bad by any means, they just matched up against a Bulldogs team featuring nine seniors and four players standing 6-foot-2 or taller.

The Bulldogs have the ability to beat you outside with long-range shooting (although they only knocked down one 3-pointer) and the ability to get to the basket with aggressive drives, more often than not earning a trip to the free-throw line.
