Opt In for Student Success

Last week, the Ready Washington coalition launched a proactive, upbeat awareness campaign called "Opt In for Student Success." Through a video contest, the campaign gives students the opportunity to voice their thoughts about the value of assessments and being prepared for college, work, and life.

The contest will award five $1,000 scholarships to winning students who

explain in a 30-second video why they "opt in for a better education." Winning students will also be able to nominate a teacher who will receive a $200 Visa gift card.
