ON THE MARCH: Sandra Choate was at the Women's March in Washington, D.C.

The day after President Trump's inauguration, protest marches took place in Washington DC and cities across the country. That's undisputed. Beyond that, almost anything you could say about the marches is the subject of a nationwide argument. As noted by The Los Angeles Times, even crowd size has become a bone of contention.

That argument runs mostly along party lines. Critics of the protest dubbed "The Women's March" claim it didn't allow for other perspectives-like women who voted for Trump, or are anti-abortion. Some felt it was disrespectful and destructive. And others simply didn't understand what it's members hoped to achieve.
