Goldendale senior meets on CTE

Career and Technical Education (CTE) students from all around Washington met in Olympia on Wednesday to talk with legislators about the important of not only funding basic education but Career and Technical Education programs also. Goldendale High School senior Nadia Smith met with Sen. Curtis King, Rep. Gina McCabe, and Rep. Norm Johnson.

Smith, along with James Ponce and Maggie Romero from Sunnyside, and Jessica Arellano from Mattawa, are State Officers for the Technology Student Association, one of eight Career and Technical Student Organizations in Washington.
