Two local racers earn OMRA awards

Although Goldendale's Over The Bars Gang motorcycle racing group is limited in numbers, in no way are its racers limited in talent.

Two of the group's three young racers returned to Goldendale with awards from the Oregon Motorcycle Riders Association awards banquet on Jan. 16 after a season full of riding.

Goldendale 16-year-old Blake Best and 12-year-old Bryce Waddell earned new awards for their trophy cases with top finishes last season in their respective divisions. The awards were handed out during a dinner party at Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Motorcycles store.
