Prior to Goldendale's scheduled home softball opener against Naches, head coach Stephen McCandless said there was a chance that the Timberwolves wouldn't host any home softball games since the field is in such poor condition.

Well that was the case last weekend for McCandless and the Wolves, who had Saturday's doubleheader moved to Naches due to the field conditions here.

They faced a tough Rangers squad that limited Goldendale to just two hits over a pair of games, sweeping the doubleheader 16-1 and 15-0 on Saturday.
