Town meeting addresses mental health and law enforcement

A Tuesday night meeting focused on the intersection of mental health services and local law enforcement (LE). Representatives from Comprehensive Healthcare (CH, formerly Comprehensive Mental Health), the Klickitat County Sherriff's Office (KCSO), and the Goldendale Police Department (GPD) discussed resources and approaches for handling mental illness (MI) in the community. CH is a private nonprofit that offers behavioral and substance use treatment in Eastern Washington. The organization has two Klickitat County
