Small schools set for Jeff Agar Memorial Meet in Glenwood

The girls for the Trout Lake Mustangs track and field team once again showed of its young talent while continuing to get better with each meet after the long winter made for a slow start to track season.

Four Mustang girls set personal best marks in seven events while Trout Lake’s girls 4x400 relay team took home the title at the Bruin Invitational on Friday in White Salmon.

Kya Fee, Anne Underwood, Joanna Peck and Naomi Elyard-Jaeger teamed up for Trout Lake’s first place 4x400 team, finishing in 4 minutes, 34.44 seconds, while the Mustangs 4x200 relay team of Peck, Underwood, Fee and Sidney Becker finished second in 1:55.57.

Becker led the way for the Mustangs with a second place...
