Tallman, O'Leary win state shoot at Brooks

For the first time ever, the Washington State 4-H Archery Championships came to the east side of the state, to Brooks Park to be exact, and the hometown Sharpshooters were more than on target during the three-day event.

Two Klickitat County 4-H Sharpshooters, junior division's Ike O'Leary and senior division archer Tori Tallman, shot their way to state titles in their respective division while nine other county shooters finished in the top four.

Three other senior shooters along with Tallman -- Mason Conroy, Andrew Ihrig and Quinn Perry as an alternate -- qualified to shoot at the 4-H National Championships in Grand Island, Nebraska, from June 25-30. The top four senior shooters qualifi...
