May is Mental Health Awareness Month


May is Mental Health Awareness month and a great time for us all to reflect on our personal well-being and the well-being of our loved ones. Mental Health conditions affect one in five people in our country—meaning many of us are, or know someone, who is struggling with a mental health condition.

Mental health is defined as a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being.

Mental health challenges come in many forms including anxiety, depression, psychosis, eating disorders, AD/HD, disruptive behavior disorders, and substance use disorders.
