Local student accepted into the Washington Aerospace Scholars Summer Residency at The Museum of Flight in Seattle.


Washington Aerospace Scholars (WAS) has announced that Alexander Mains from Goldendale High School is among the juniors from across the state whose academic performance on the WAS Phase One curriculum qualified them for Phase Two – the WAS Summer Residency.

WAS is designed to connect high school juniors with educational and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through independent learning, hands-on interaction, professional guidance, and site-based tours.
