Two empty saddles at the rodeo


In last week’s news, we failed to mention one other important Ketchum Kalf Rodeo honor. Travis Miller was selected to receive the Hank Ladiges Memorial Buckle at this year’s rodeo. This award recognizes the dedication and hard work of a Glenwood Rodeo Association member and the recipient is chosen by past honorees. Travis has given his full support to the annual rodeo for most of his life, and this honor was well deserved. Congratulations, Travis.

Sadly, there were two empty saddles in the arena at the rodeo this year, in memory of late, long-time rodeo association members Mel Roberson and Ernie Easley. They worked for many years to help make the Ketchum Kalf Rodeo a success. Another...
