Petty Charity Ride raises more money than ever before

The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America, which rolled through Goldendale and stopped at the Maryhill Museum back on May 13, raised more money this year than it has in the previous 22 years that the ride has taken place.

"(The Ride) was a big success thanks in part to the generous outpouring from fans in Goldendale who helped support the cause when the Ride visited on May 13," a press release from The Ride stated.

The Ride Across America started just down the Columbia River in Portland and finished up 2,400 miles away in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and raised $1.3 million for Kyle Petty's Victory Junction, a camp dedicated to providing life-changing camping experiences for children with chr...
