Four reach National High School Rodeo finals

Four Goldendale High School students have qualified to compete at the world's largest rodeo.

Freshmen Curtis Kayser and Courtney Tatro, sophomore Justin Slater and junior Cassie Kayser each earned a spot on the Washington state National High School rodeo team and will be traveling with fellow teammates to Gillette, Wyoming, to compete at the 69th annual National High School Finals Rodeo, which runs July 16-22.

Slater and Cassie Kayser each qualified in the cutting competition while Tatro qualified in shooting with Curtis Kayser qualifying in tie down roping.
