Wild Woman Marathon draws many out-of-area runners

Despite being a small town with 557 total people according to the 2010 census, the Trails around Trout Lake make for some epic running conditions, and the 242 runners who turned out for the sixth annual Wild Women Trail Marathon will confirm it.

Starting in the shadow of Mount Adams early Saturday morning, participants had the option of running a 26.2 mile marathon, a 31 mile 50K or combining with some friends to tackle the Trout Lake trails as part of a relay team.
