Lyle resident Ivor Thomas Jones passed away on July 9, 2017 at the age of 88 in Vancouver, Washington. He was born in Sand Point, Idaho to Helen (Hathaway) and David Jones on August 23, 1928. Ivor served for six-and-a-half years in the Army Air Corps. Mr. Jones worked as logger for most of his life and was well-known for his fleet of pink log trucks. He loved hunting, boating, and commercial fishing. He is survived by his wife Barbara Jones of Arizona; daughter Kim Doubravksy and her husband Mark of Goldendale; son Dan Jones and his wife Bernice of Vancouver; daughter Candace Chase and her husband Dan of Lyle; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Ivor was preceded in death by daughter Constance Marx, grandson Brandon Jones; Brother Vern Norton, Sister Suzanne Berge and his parents.
