Dwinell getting closer to opening day

VATS AND KEGS: More equipment is going in at Dwinell Country Ales. Beer will flow soon.

Opening day is fast approaching for Dwinell Country Ales in Goldendale, as finishing touches on the tasting room are being completed and beers are fermenting, awaiting their introduction to a thirsty public.

"We hoped to be up and running by September," co-owner and brewer Jocelyn Leigh said. "Things are coming together faster than we thought, so that is exciting."

With a seven-barrel brew system-producing 200-gallons of beer at a time-there will be 10 taps for customers to choose from with six options produced by Dwinell, including a wild pale-ale, a Flemish red, and a Belgian-inspired white ale named Gold Dust.
