Prime rib dinner hard to beat

August 16, 2017

Here’s another reminder of the August prime rib dinner at the Glenwood Station on Saturday, Aug. 19. It’s hard to beat the delicious prime rib served up by the staff at the Station.

The Klickitat County Fair is nearly here. Several Glenwood youngsters will participate in 4-H livestock, sewing, baking, and horse classes Aug. 23-27. Many Glenwood residents work hard on the fair all year long and during the long fair week and weekend. Those who serve on the fair board and those who volunteer in other forms to make the fair a success are greatly appreciated.

If you’re able to attend any or all the fair events and activities, be sure to cheer on our local competitors. If you would like to help support our Mt. Adams Community 4-H members by donating to the Market stock sale fund, please contact Travis Miller at 364-3497.

High school volleyball practice begins Aug. 21, with Jaecee Hoctor returning as coach of the Klickitat/Glenwood combined team. Middle school practice, with coach Sarah McFall, begins on the first day of school, Aug. 30.
