A VERY FAIR TIME: The County Fair came to Goldendale lsast week. The big parade was Saturday.

The 2017 Klickitat County Fair wrapped up on Aug. 27 after four days of fun and festivities at the Klickitat County Fairgrounds in Goldendale.

The rodeo, as expected, was the biggest hit of the fair, but there was a plethora of other exciting entertainment to enjoy as well at the fairgrounds. Zieske Entertainment had their mechanical bull at the fair for all four days, as fairgoers tried to see how long they could last before getting bucked off of the bull.

The Brigade FMX team put on a show during the fair, performing wild freestyle motorcycle stunts for crowds throughout the weekend.

The fair also had a nice roster of musicians performing on the Reno Stage throughout the fair, including country singer James Wesley who performed on Aug. 24. Wesley has two top 25 country hits to his name, "Real" and "Didn't I."

WE WERE ALL SO LONG AT THE FAIR: The parade featured many people on horseback, including two county commissioners, one from Klickitat County and one from Clark County.

Oregon native and country-rock artist Briana Renea performed on Aug. 25, playing tracks off of her new album, "Chasin' Trouble." Renea is familiar with the fair atmosphere, and her bull-riding single "Widow Maker" was used in the NPRA finals commercial.

Washington State University alum and country artist Chance McKinney performed Saturday night on the Reno Stage. As a math teacher in Mukilteo in 2009, McKinney entered and won Country Music Television's Music City Madness competition for unsigned artists. McKinney has toured with the likes of Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Darius Rucker and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Other fun events included the tractor pull-sponsored by the Goldendale Motorsports Association-Fun Jumpers bounce houses, and a performance from the Touch of Class Dance & Gymnastics Studio.
