Goldendale soccer continues improving but falls at home to Granger

During Goldendale's opening soccer match against Royal on Sept. 9, fourth year head coach Anna DeMott said Royal's first goal seemed to take the air out of the team early in the 5-0 loss.

During last Thursday's game against Granger, the Spartans scored first and the Timberwolves continued to battle, but Granger's firepower was just a little too much for the home team in the 7-2 defeat.

After the Spartans scored early on to take the first lead of the game, The Timberwolves added a goal of their own not too long after freshman Tiana Watson found the back of the net to tie the game at one.

The Spartans added three more goals in the opening half and led 4-1, but Goldendale's girls weren't...
