Re: "Keep DACA Alive" by Sasha Bentley of White Salmon-this is the real story about DACA.

When Obama issued his Executive Order concerning DACA, even he admitted that he could not write law because the Constitution states that only Congress is allowed to write law.

Obama's Executive Order was considered "temporary" for that reason, and it was expected to be acted upon by Congress to make it law. After several years of inaction, Trump discovered this unfinished business and enacted a six-month delay in abolishing this directive, to give Congress six months to do the job that they had negligently not taken action on for several years to make DACA actual law.
