Goldendale soccer continues to battle with the best in the SCAC West

The Goldendale soccer team continues to battle with the tough teams in the South Central Athletic Conference, and although it can't be seen in the standings, the team is much improved from when head coach Anna DeMott took over as the leader.

The Timberwolves have yet to get in the win column, but they're long overdue.

The team was on the road Tuesday playing the Granger Spartans, but results weren't available at press time. In the team's first meeting in Goldendale on Sept. 14, the Timberwolves fell 7-2, but was a 4-2 game at halftime after goals from freshman Tiana Watson and sophomore Faith Hastings.
