Man shot inside home in city

A group of gunmen burst into a Goldendale home Monday night, shot the resident, and bolted in a damaged SUV.

According to the Goldendale Police Department, officers responded at about 10:49 p.m. Monday to shouts from a man saying he’d been shot. He was at his residence in the 100 block of Columbus, at the intersection of Columbus and Broadway and right across the street from the Goldendale United Methodist Church. The man was taken to Klickitat Valley Health, where he was treated for his gunshot wound.
