KPUD needs to look at bigger picture

I am concerned that KPUD is not looking at the bigger, long-term positive aspects of keeping the existing one-to-one net metering policy that promotes home and business owners investing in renewable alternative distributed electric power generation - solar, wind, micro-hydro and poop-to-power conversion of dairy waste. If it makes economic sense, I want to put solar photovoltaic electric power generation and hot water heating on our home and clinic. To make this significant long-term investment, I need a stable one-to-one net metering policy long-term. Can this be a win-win for KPUD and me?
