Frances Florine Gabbert was born Feb. 12, 1929, to Mace and Pauline Gabbert in Wallowa, Oregon.

Flo attended Goldendale High School where she was a reporter for the school newspaper.

While working on a story about Wishram, she met and later married Dan Bunn. Later she decided she wanted to travel and see the world, so she did. She went to San Francisco, where she worked for the San Francisco Chronicle and raced her Austin Healy at various road races. Then on to Africa, working for Radio Free America; Hawaii; Sedona, Arizona; Costa Rica; and Florida, where she passed away.

Flo is preceded in death by her brother, Ed Gabbert, and wife Pat. She is survived by her daughter, Shawnell, and husband Tom Parker of Costa Rica; her son Cole Stilley of Sedona; brother Ray and Gene Gabbert of Paulden, Arizona; sister Adelia (DeeDee) Gabbert Dillon and husband Dan; her special nephew Toby Gabbert; and niece Darcy Hamilton; Kathy Bennett of The Dalles; and many great nieces and nephews and cousins in Goldendale.
