After an extended illness, Hallie Marie Huck went to be with her Lord on Feb. 20, 2018 at her home in Goldendale.

She was born May 7, 1942 in Chehalis, WA to Hal C. Knapp and Winona (Ruppenthal) Knapp. She was married to Thomas (Jerry) Huck on Sept. 30, 1972 and spent several years in the Moxee, Washington, area with their sons before they relocated to Goldendale in 1978.

Hallie was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting, cooking, and shooting with her husband and sons. She was an active member of Columbus Ave. Baptist Church in Goldendale for 33 years. She was known to all as a faithful Prayer Warrior.

Hallie was preceded in death by her parents; one sister (Sherlyn Joy Knapp); and her sons (Kim Scott Huck and Kit Monty Huck). She is survived by her husband, Jerry Huck; her brother, Larey Knapp of Yakima; and three sisters, Muriel Krusow of Dallesport, Rosy Carvo of Selah, and Rochelle Hurt of Goldendale. Later in life she was adopted as a mother by two daughters and a son: Tina Virtue of Westfall, Oregon, Jody Richardson of Yakima, and Allen Bone of Yakima. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
