Open Studios announces annual tour

Gorge Artists has announced its twelfth annual Open Studios Tour, scheduled for April 20, 21, 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Forty-one juried studios will participate, featuring the highest quality work available from the region in a variety of mediums and styles. The tour is free and self-guided, with artists’ studios located throughout the Columbia Gorge from Cascade Locks to The Dalles and from Parkdale, Oregon to Trout Lake, Washington. Gorge Artists is a non-profit 501(c)3. Its mission is to advance and encourage artists in the Columbia River Gorge by building community among artists and the public, promoting art and business education, and provid-ing opportunities for the public to experience and enjoy art.

Forty-one Gorge artists will open their studios to the public in 2018, sharing their art, thoughts, and processes. Visitors can see where Gorge artists work and what inspires them as well as purchase and take home art.
