Easter eggs used to show the meaning of Easter

The Sunday School teacher was trying a new approach to teach the resurrection of Jesus to her class of first graders. Racking her brains, she came up with the idea of letting them teach it themselves. She thought they might have fun teaching about Easter with objects. So she gave each of her class members a plastic colorful Easter egg, the kind that comes apart so they can be filled with candy or small toys. Only she gave them to each child totally empty. She also gave them an assignment. Each child was to find some small object that would fit in the plastic egg that represents Easter to the child. And then the teacher instructed the children to return on Easter with their now-filled eggs...
