Gerchak leads way for Wolves in The Dalles and Grandview

March 28, 2018

After a little while away from the courses, the Goldendale golfers returned for a busy couple of days with matches in The Dalles and Grandview before a week off during spring break.

They were in The Dalles last Friday and in Grandview on Monday where junior Luke Gerchak shot a pair of great rounds for two top-five finishes.

Gerchak shot an 86 in The Dalles that placed him at fourth overall. Freshman Jasper Randall followed Gerchak with a 143, sophomore Andrew Ihrig shot a 152, sophomore Tyler Telford a 173, and junior Riley Seaver finished with a 182.

Three days later in Grandview, Gerchak once again cracked the leaderboard with a third place showing after shooting an 83.

After Gerchak, Ihrig was the second highest finishing Timberwolf with a round of 128, followed by junior Logan Quantrell with 131, Randall with a 151, and freshman Dane O’Leary with a 152.
