April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Programs for Peaceful Living would like to remind everyone that April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Sexual violence can take on any form, whether it is sexual harassment in the workplace, child sexual abuse, molestation or rape. Sexual assault (SA) is no respecter of persons. The statistics include men and boys, women and girls, the elderly and even babies. It doesn’t matter the gender, sexual orientation, race, culture, or if you are rich or poor.
