Temperatures were colder in January

According to preliminary data received by NOAA's National Weather Service in Pendleton Oregon, temperatures at Goldendale averaged colder than normal during the month of March.

The average temperature was 39.4 degrees which was 2.2 degrees below normal. High temperatures averaged 50.6 degrees, which was 1.8 degrees below normal. The highest was 63 degrees on the 13th. Low temperatures averaged 28.2 degrees, which was 2.6 degrees below normal. The lowest was 20 degrees, on the 4th.

There were 22 days with the low temperature below 32 degrees.

Precipitation totaled 1.78 inches during March, which was 0.30 inches above normal. Measurable precipitation -at least .01 inch- was received on 13...
