TUNES TEACHER: Nicole Becerra, a Goldendale High School graduate, is back home offering piano lessons.

Goldendale has a new piano and music teacher in Nicole Becerra, who is now offering lessons to people of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced. She will also be offering lessons in flute as well.

Becerra went to high school in Goldendale before attending Central Washington University (CWU). She graduated from CWU in 2017 with a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance with secondary training on the flute. She has been playing piano for 15 years. Her rates are $20 for a 30-minute lesson and $40 for an hour.

"My musical strengths are in classical music and hymns," Becerra says. "I really enjoy the Romantic-era composers of Brahms, Chopin, and impressionist style music."
