Power a brief snag


2018 Pioneer Days celebration hit a short snag when all the power to Lyle was cut off and the Twin Bridges Museum fundraiser of biscuits and gravy was stalled. But the lights came back on in time for partakers to enjoy a hearty breakfast before finding a place to watch the parade. Before it began, there came a walking minstrel with his fair maiden in costumes, entertaining the crowd. The flashing lights of patrol car started the procession, followed closely by the return of a man driving a car on two wheels with a lady standing bravely on the top side, waving a large American Flag. After this spectacle the route was a jumble of lively entries from lovely young rodeo queens, mounted on awe...
