This week The Sentinel celebrates its 18th anniversary, and still there are more to follow. Other local papers come and go, but it is hopeful The Sentinel will live on until the end of time.

June 3, 1905 - New Telephone Line:

A meeting of the Klickitat County Farmers Co-operative Telephone Company was held in Goldendale on May 29. The farmers mean business, says President J.S. Eddings, and are going forward with the proposition. There will be six lines out from Goldendale, one to Pleasant Valley, one to Spring Creek, one to Centerville, one to No.12, and one to Fruit Flat, and one along the No.3 rural route.
