Mosbrucker visits Centerville Grange

IMPORTANT VISIT: Rep. Gina McCabe, right, recently visited the Centerville Grange, which she helped procure funding for.

Centerville's Grange Hall has functioned as their primary community center for over 38 years. Like most grange halls in the state the building has endured hundreds of hours of meetings, events, and gatherings with scant funds for extensive maintenance. The current structure is Centerville's second grange hall. The first grange hall, built in 1937, also severed as the community center for 42 years before being destroyed in a spectacular fire on Jan. 2, 1979. Even before the smoke had settled from that fire, Centerville Grangers were determined to rebuild a new hall on their downtown corner lot.
