Roger Lewis Brundridge


Roger Lewis Brundridge peacefully passed away while surrounded by his loved ones on June 22, 2018. He was born in Flats, Missouri, to Aubrey “Pete” Brundridge and Vera Martin Brundridge on July 17, 1934. When Roger was young, his family moved to Sisters, Oregon, and later settled in White Swan where he graduated from high school. In 1963, he moved to Goldendale where he spent most of his remaining years.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and served from 1957 to 1963. After his service, he went to work in the lumber industry. Roger and his father “Pete” designed and rebuilt the original Layman Mill in 1963, which became Boise Cascade where he worked until his retirement.
