Community Perfection


The weather was perfect, the parade was bigger and better than ever, and a throng of

happy holiday funseekers hit the streets of Goldendale this past weekend for the annual Community Days. Vintage cars

were admired, kids took to the bouncy house in five-minute shifts that led to a long line in front of it, and kids of all ages

took turns to see how long they lasted on the mechanical bull. Vendors plied their wares and foodstuffs. Maybe it helped

that the Fourth of July was in the middle of the week this year.
