We don't need an academic
I think there’s a general awareness that something has gone seriously wrong with our high-cost higher education system. It has replaced the workforce-ready graduates of past generations with indebted, unemployed Millennials who—not surprisingly—find the siren call of socialism attractive.
Which brings us to Professor Carolyn Long’s candidacy for US Congress. Why would we want someone who’s made a career in the failed higher education system taking that “experience” to the U.S. Congress? It’s bad enough what higher ed has done to the Millennial generation; why give one of its practitioners a shot at doing the same thing to the rest of us?
