Ladies 4-18 Tournament returns, Smith wins gross and Silen wins net
September 5, 2018
Returning for the first year since 2004, the Goldendale Golf Club held its Ladies Club 4-18 Tournament throughout a two-month period over the course of the summer.
Ladies Club President Nancy Beyerlin decided to bring it back after a 14 year hiatus and eight ladies competed over the summer.
Shown above from left, Janet Smith and Donna Silen finished the tournament as the leading gross and net golfers, respectively.
Each lady decided before playing that the round would be entered into the 4-18 tournament. They then played four different rounds with a team member that is also in the tournament over the course of the summer.
The events lasts usually six or seven weeks, however due to the smoke it was extended a few weeks.
They then took the four rounds and averaged the net and the gross scores to determine the winners.
