Coming off their second win of the season, the Wolves looked to keep the momentum up on the pitch last Thursday in Zillah.

The Wolves, after beating Granger 3-1 on Oct. 8 in Goldendale, traveled to Zillah last week for the second of two matchups with the Leopards this season. Despite a second half comeback to force a shootout, the Leopards hung on for the 3-2 win after scoring two goals during the shootout to Goldendale's one.

Falling behind 2-0 early in the game after the Leopards scored two goals in the first 25 minutes of the game, Goldendale battled back with a goal late in the first, and another early in the second half. The teams held each other scoreless over the final 20 minutes to force the shootout, but Zillah won the shootout with two goals to Goldendale's one.

The Wolves will be at home for their second to last SCAC West contest of the season, facing off against the Highland Scotties starting at 4 p.m. On Saturday, the team will honor seniors Lene Riggers and Tori Speikerman as they play their last game in front of the hometown fans. Kickoff for Saturday's game is slated for 11 a.m. They end the season at 6 p.m. next Tuesday in Naches.
