NOTICE OF AMENDMENTOF THE COMPREHENSIVE SCHEME

The Port District has prepared a preliminary budget for FY/CY 2019. Copies are on file in the Port office located at 154 E Bingen Point Way Ste. A; Bingen, Washington and available for inspection by any taxpayer. The Port Commission will meet at 4:30 P.M. November 6, 2018 in the Port office for the purpose of holding a public hearing and receiving public comment on the Port District budget for FY/CY 2019.

Furthermore, the Port District has identified certain proposed capital projects in support of its Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements and Industrial Developments. Pursuant to RCW 53.20.010 and RCW 53.25.090 the Port Commission will meet at 4:30 P.M. on November 6, 2018 in the Port office for the purpose of holding a public hearing and receiving public comment on an amendment to its Comprehensive Scheme.

Non-Significance

Notice is hereby given that Klickitat County issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-significance (MDNS) on October 19, 2018 under SEPA Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) and the Klickitat County Environmental Ordinance Number 121084, as amended, for the following proposal:

SEPA2017-33. Applicant: Ray & Donna Peterson. The applicant proposes to divide a 10.87 acre parcel into two lots. Proposed lot 1 will contain 5.02 acres. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Klickitat County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on November 19, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Klickitat County Courthouse, Commissioners Meeting Room, 205 S Columbus, Goldendale, WA.

THE PURPOSE of said hearing is to hear all interested parties who wish to testify for or against the following proposal:

MHP2018-01: Applicant: Getaway WA, LLC; Property Owner: Mt. Adams Lodge Land Holding LLC. Getaway proposes to expand the existing Mount Adams Lodge at Flying L Ranch by placing 40 “tiny cabin RVs” on the unimproved portion of the property. These tiny cabin RVs will be prefabricated off site and meet all applicable Washington State Labor and Industries (L&I) requirements for a “Park Model RV”. Structural Engineering Services

The City of Goldendale is soliciting statements of qualifications and performance information from engineers and consulting/professional firms interested in providing professional services for the 2018 calendar year, pursuant to Chapter 39.80 RCW. The City anticipates requiring services for the following types of projects: 1) Bridge load rating updates, 2) Construction support services, and 3) outside funding application preparation for various agencies, including but not limited to, Community Development Block Grant, ARRA funding, Transportation Improvement Board, Department of Transportation, Transportation Enhancement Program through the Federal Surface Transportation Program, Recreation Conservation Office, Department of Ecology, Department of Health, and Public Works Board.

The following criteria will be used to evaluate firms: Amount of specialized experience in type of work required (20), availability and capacity of the firm to accomplish the work in the required time frame (20), qualifications of personnel that will actually be working on the project (20), firm’s past experience with federally funded projects (especially CDBG and USDA/RD projects) (20), geographical proximity of the firm to the project location (10), and professional reputation and references (10).

Firms desiring consideration shall submit a complete qualifications package and any other pertinent data to further assist the selection committee in evaluating the firm’s qualification to: City of Goldendale Attn. Karl Enyeart, PE, Public Works Director, 1103 South Columbus Avenue, Goldendale, WA 98620. Qualification packages should be submitted to arrive no later than 5:00 pm on November 14, 2018. The most highly rated firm(s) will be selected for negotiation of the professional service contract for one or more types of projects.

These projects may be funded or partially funded through the Washington State Community Development Block Grant Program with federal funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. As a result, cost plus percentage of construction cost contracts may not be allowed and a number of state and federal equal opportunity action requirements may apply to the selection process and conduct of the project.
