Seats in the interior of the Stonehenge Memorial were filled Sunday to observe a commemoration of Veterans Day and the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. Above, Goldendale Mayor Mike Canon addresses the crowd. Stonehenge was built to honor those from Klickitat County who lost their lives in the Great War, and each was honored again by name Sunday; seven still have family in the county, whose members laid wreaths before the plaques naming the fallen in their family. Representatives from Maryhill Museum, which helped organize the event, spoke, as well as representatives from the offices of Gov. Jay Inslee and Sen. Maria Cantwell.
