Parade a success

PARADE WINNERS: The winners of Best Presentation in Sunday's Veterans Day Parade were1st place, the Goldendale High School Band.

This year's Veterans Parade was a success, says organizer Scott Robinson. "We couldn't have done it without our volunteers and businesses and individuals who helped. We were able to give away three trophies and 45 plaques. Support came from Goldendale Exhaust, Perez Collision Repair, Goldendale Auto, McCredy Company, Carquest, Immense Imagery, the Goldendale Police Department, Masonic Lodge 31, the American Legion, ABATE of Columbia Gorge, Bishop Sanitation, Jim Ogden, Rep. Gina Mosbrucker, Sen. Curtis King, Bob and Kathy Moco, Guy and Sylvia Theriault, Bod Kindler, and Denis and Beth Schroder."

The Grand Marshall of the parade this year was Sheriff Bob Songer.
