Sisters celebrate their 25th reunion

TOGETHER AGAIN: The daughters of Vernon and Betty Storey, who were married in Goldendale in 1954, meet for their 25th sisters' reunion.

In 1954 there was a double wedding at the Goldendale Methodist Church. The couples were Donald and Ella Miller and Vernon and Betty Storey.

Saturday the four daughters of the Storeys came to Goldendale to celebrate 25 years of what they call their annual sisters' reunion. Connie Dean, Bonnie Wright, Sherri Storey-Toop, and Tami Storey-Sparks sat in a booth at the Blue Sage Restaurant and shared their unusual tale.

"We've been doing this since 1993," Sherri said. "We knew David [from the Blue Sage Café] back then and decided, 'This year we're going to meet in Goldendale.'"

The four live in different parts of the state. Connie and Sherri live in Yakima, Bonnie in Moxie, and Tami in Zillah....
