The mild and innocent sheep which spend their summer vacations grazing on Washington’s mountain sides are the State’s best antidotes to forest fires, officials of Land Commissioner C.V. Savidge’s staff maintain. The forest fire nuisance has disappeared from sheep pastures, recent records show.
